Article Processing Charge (APC) Information

The CPD Bulletin Clinical Biochemistry is committed to providing high-quality, peer-reviewed research to the scientific community and ensuring that valuable findings are widely disseminated. To support the costs associated with the editorial process, peer review, typesetting, and online hosting, the journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) for all accepted manuscripts.

  • Standard APC: $200 USD

The APC helps cover the following:

  1. Editorial and Peer Review: Ensuring a rigorous peer review process conducted by experts in the field to maintain high standards of scientific quality.
  2. Production: Professional typesetting, formatting, and layout of articles to ensure readability and adherence to journal standards.
  3. Online Hosting and Archiving: Secure and perpetual online hosting of articles, making them accessible to researchers, clinicians, and the public worldwide.
  4. Open Access: Immediate, unrestricted access to published articles, ensuring maximum visibility and impact for your research.

 

Payment Process

  • Authors will receive an invoice upon acceptance of their manuscript for publication.
  • Payment instructions and methods will be provided with the invoice.
  • Prompt payment is required to facilitate timely publication of the article.

 

Waivers and Discounts

The CPD Bulletin Clinical Biochemistry is committed to supporting authors from low-income and lower-middle-income countries. Partial or full waivers of the APC may be available for authors who demonstrate financial need. Authors wishing to apply for a waiver or discount should contact the editorial office at cmegm@geraticmedicine.uk before submitting their manuscript.

 

Refund Policy

The APC is non-refundable. Once an article has been accepted for publication and the processing fee has been paid, the fee cannot be refunded regardless of whether the author later decides to withdraw the article or if post-publication corrections are required.
